decided to do some yapping about GOEXPO since it was this past weekend (3/15-3/17) and i had a FUCKTON of fun!! >w<
for friday, me, my boyfy, and the pookies (friends in my cosplay group!) pretty much just wandered around the artist's alley/vendor's hall the entire time xP we did a TADC group cosplay, and i decided to be gangle! i'm really proud of how my cosplay turned out tbh (although i really need to learn how to properly set white face paint... sigh), especially because i hand-made the mask and bought the dress for relatively cheap off of ebay !!! i think everyone else looked fuckin' amazing too, and tbh i think a lot of people at the con that day would've agreed---so many people asked to take pictures with us!! definitely a huge boost to my confidence in my cosplay skills LOLOL

on saturday, we did a deltarune group cosplay and went to some panels :p ofc the pookies and i couldn't resist a trip to the spend-all-of-your-money zone (artist's alley & vendor's hall), but we def focused more on the other aspects of the con experience that day! i did a pretty basic fem spamton cosplay (while one of the homies did a sick ass spamton neo cosplay that was literally featured in a local newspaper) and i feel like it looked kinda silly, but i had fun regardless :] plus we met a lot of other deltaurners!

and finally, on sunday, me and my pookie jewel (@brainrotbugg on IG!) did a nyan cat & tac nayn duo cosplay :3 we went to our friend's UT/DR family feud panel (which was HUGE in comparison to their panel at the last con! so exciting) and to an invader zim panel featuring rikki simmons, richard horvitz, and melissa fahn!! my boyf wanted to get one of his like 20 gir hats signed but ended up losing it before he could, but he got a poster signed by richard horvitz fortunately </3 i still feel bad for him though... sigh. next con one of them's at...
anywho, we also goofed around in the shopping area too (ofc)! all in all, i spent like... easily most of my last paycheck (for context i work a low-paying student job and am fortunate enough to not have to cover living expenses like housing or food because i'm at college with solid scholarships to support me), but i'd say it was worth it B) i had so much fucking fun and made a few new friends too!
jewel and i ended up getting a few hate comments on a reel we made for shits and giggles because we're... not thin white women, but alas, such is the internet. i just wish people were less stupid and annoying, but again, alas :p

aaaand i'll stop yappin' with that! i love game on expo, it's been so fun the past two times i've gone :333 to another year of GOEXPO in 2027! i'm also lowkey yearning for conventions now sigh... i love being in community with other weird nerds who won't judge me for being a weird nerd.
